Book of Fruits Halloween Slot Review: High Volatility (Amatic)

You must be looking for the Book of Fruits Halloween slot review. If it’s October, that means Halloween is just around the corner, and game developers all over the world are gearing up to release their spooky slots in time for the holiday.

The scariest games of the year are usually released around Halloween, featuring vampires, zombies, and a variety of other creatures. However, it’s not exactly what Amatic had in mind for Book of Fruits: Halloween.

They turned their regular Book of Fruits slot into a Halloween version, but they made sure to change a few things inside, so it’s not just the same game in new clothes.

Best of Book of Fruits Halloween Slot Review

On 5×3 reels, Book of Fruits: Halloween has 10 active lines, whereas the original had only 5. The slot doesn’t offer much in the way of originality, with Book of Ra-inspired mechanics, but it does deliver the same 5,000x jackpots as every other slot in this category.

The combination of wild/scatter symbols with the Book, as well as the standard free spins with expanding symbols, should not surprise you.

1. Betting Range

You’ll have to choose a wager for each of the game’s ten lines, which means you’ll need at least ten coins. If you max out the option, you can place a bet of up to 500 coins.

In terms of the game’s payouts, the highest single-combination reward is 5,000 coins, or 500 times the stake. Get them by landing expanding symbols, which include the top symbol on all reels, for a chance to win up to 5,000x your stake on the slot’s 10 lines.

The high volatility of the game, as well as the thrilling way in which free spins can result in large payouts, appears to be what makes the Book-style genre so popular among players. There is some risk involved, but there is also something significant to look forward to.

2. Game Features

The game only has one feature symbol, an all-powerful Book of Fruits that can appear once on each of the five reels. Now, if it’s on an active line and the other symbols on that line allow it, it can help them form a combo by acting as a wild.

Scatter Symbols

However, that same symbol is also a scatter, and if you get it three times on the reels, you’ll quickly notice its true potential. It will be a free spins trigger, as well as paying 2x, 20x, or 200x the stake for 3, 4, or 5 Book icons in view.

Once triggered, you’ll be given 10 free spins to play through, with the option to retrigger the feature if another group of three or more scattered Books appears. As soon as the feature is activated, a regular symbol will be selected at random and transformed into a special icon.

After the regular combos have paid out in each round, the special symbols in view expand and take over the reels. They pay out based on how many times they appear (on 3 or more reels), and they don’t have to be in order from left to right, so they act as scatters on all 10 lines.

Lucky 7 Symbol

This is a feature with a lot of potential, and the Lucky 7 symbol should ideally be the one chosen to be special because it pays the most (500x per line). Then, in any random position, get that symbol on each of the five reels, and you’ll have a screen full of top symbols and a 5,000x jackpot.

3. Theme and Design

They’ve chosen to take the original’s classic fruit-inspired design and added a couple of Halloween-themed decorations to some of the symbols, mostly cobwebs and spiders.

The Pumpkin, a lovely Jack O Lantern image that is the game’s second best paying symbol, is the only new addition to the paytable section. The Book of Fruits, Lucky 7s, Watermelon, Bar logo, Grapes, Plums, Oranges, Lemons, and Cherries are among the other icons.

There’s nothing special about it, and if you’re looking for a true Halloween design, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed.

Final Words

This game is your basic Book of Ra clone, with some minor tweaks to make it Halloween-appropriate. However, it doesn’t appear to be good enough, and given that there are far more interesting Book-style games available, we’d prefer to play one of the others.

In conclusion of our Book of Fruits Halloween slot review, the only reason we’d recommend this slot gacor is if you’re looking for a Halloween-themed Book-style slot, as we don’t know if there are any others. However, it wouldn’t be difficult to create one that is superior to Book of Fruits: Halloween.
